Review of The Minotaur Files

Review of The Minotaur Files, by Derek Borne

I’ve had a lot of fun reading these short stories by Derek Borne. Each and every one of them is different – from the creation of the mythical creatures, to each of their capabilities and personalities. I seriously wouldn’t complain if these became comic books.

The Minotaur Files was no different. Well…. it kind of was, but this is a spoiler free review, so…
trails off this train of thought and winks

Brett and Devon find themselves in a real pickle in The Minotaur Files. I found myself flipping the pages, because I thought it really might end badly for them. The creation of this beast was not at all what I was expecting. It was a refreshing change to the predictable plots I’ve read as of late.

Derek’s writing has really been growing on me, and I can’t wait to read what else he cooks up in his writing lab! New beats? New characters? Really awesome new tech and abilities? I have no idea, but I’ll be there, ready to read.
